American brands mean a lot of pickups, big SUVs, V8s and V6s. Some of their best-known problems, like lifter failures on GM and HEMI V8s or leaky Pentastar oil filter housings, are things we know how to spot and explain.
The software side counts too
Newer American cars need setup steps of their own: a battery management reset on many Fords, a second start-stop battery on newer Wranglers, and electronic parking brakes on plenty of models.
Same prices on every badge
A battery on an F-150 is $125 labor, the same as on a Civic. Parts are quoted for your vehicle before we start.
Questions
American car owners ask
Do you work on pickups?
Yes, half-ton and heavy-duty, for the work we do at the vehicle: diagnostics, batteries, brakes, alternators, starters and inspections.
Do trucks and SUVs cost more?
Our published labor prices are the same. Alternators and starters are "from" prices, confirmed for your vehicle before we start.
Will using you affect my warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny your warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done by an independent mechanic. Keep your receipts. Repairs the warranty itself pays for still go to the dealer.
