Genesis issues worth knowing
Battery in the back, jump points up front
The GV80 keeps its 12-volt battery in the cargo area, under the floor, with jump-start terminals in the engine bay. Good to know before you go hunting for it in a parking garage.
Electronic parking brakes
Genesis models with an electronic parking brake need service mode before the rear pads come out, and a reset after.
Brand guides, not a diagnosis. Two cars with the same symptom can have different faults, which is what testing is for.

Yes, for the work we do at the vehicle.
Will using you void my Genesis warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny your warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done by an independent mechanic. Keep your receipts. Repairs the warranty itself pays for still go to the dealer.
