Lifter failures on the 2021 Escalade
GM's bulletin on collapsed lifters in the 6.2-litre V8 includes 2021 Escalades. A misfire code is usually the first sign.
Timing chains on older 3.6 V6 models
The 3.6 V6 in 2007–2012 SRXs and 2008–2012 CTSs was part of GM's timing chain bulletins, with cam timing codes like P0008 and P0017.
Lots of electronics, sensitive to voltage
Luxury cars run a lot of modules. A weak battery can set warnings across several systems at once, so we test voltage before chasing faults.

On the 3.6 V6 it often is, but a diagnostic confirms it before anyone quotes the job.
Will using you void my Cadillac warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny your warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done by an independent mechanic. Keep your receipts. Repairs the warranty itself pays for still go to the dealer.
