V6 timing belts
Acura's V6 engines use a timing belt that also drives the water pump. Honda's interval runs from around 90,000 to 105,000 miles depending on the model. On an older MDX or TL, find out when it was last done.
Cold-start rattle on the four-cylinder
Acuras with Honda's K-series four-cylinder, like the TSX, can develop the same brief cold-start rattle from a worn VTC actuator that shows up on the CR-V and Accord.

Will using you void my Acura warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer or dealer can't deny your warranty coverage just because maintenance or repairs were done by an independent mechanic. Keep your receipts. Repairs the warranty itself pays for still go to the dealer.
